Stephen Colbert can hardly fit all the Trump drama into one show, as evidenced by Wednesday's "Late Show."

"I thought the show was going to be about one thing and then the other thing happened, so I'm going to talk about the third thing I didn't expect," the host opened. Then, after singing Oprah's praises for toppling Trump's labor pick, Colbert turned to new reports of the Russian communications with the Trump team leading up to the Flynn fallout.

"We just learned from multiple intelligence sources that Trump aides were in 'constant touch' with senior Russian officials during the campaign," Colbert announced.

"'Constant touch,' by the way, is also Trump's secret service code name," he joked. "'Constant touch' is coming backstage. Hide the girls!"

But the Russian revelation obviously raises questions.

"Are you f*cking kidding me?" Colbert asked in response. "This is Russia, America's greatest foe since World War II!"

And while intelligence sources have, so far, found no evidence that the collusion delivered Trump's win, multiple networks have noted, "there's a lot of smoke."

“You know what they say: Where there’s smoke, there’s Stephen Miller blowing it up Trump’s ass,” Colbert quipped.
